Sprouted Kadala(chickpea). Sprouting them increases their nutrient value. Sprouted chickpeas can be easily added to salads, snacks or consumed on their own.

Serves: 4

Ingredients:

1 cup chickpea ( Here I used black chickpea )
2 cups water

Directions

1) Rinse chickpea well and add water. Soak in 2 cups of water.

 2) After 12 hours, drain and wash again. Drain well and cover with a cloth.

3) Day 1: drain and rinse again. Drain and cover with a cloth.

4) Day 2: drain and rinse again. Drain and cover with a cloth.

5) Day 3: You can see tiny sprouts.

6) Use chickpeas in your recipes now or if you want longer sprouts repeat the above step(Step 4) for 1 to 2 days.
