Ingredients

300 grams prawns/shrimp
5 tablespoon  coconut oil
1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds
1/2 teaspoon fennel seeds
2 cups onion
1 teaspoon ginger
2 teaspoon garlic
1 cup tomato
Curry leaves
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
3 teaspoon Kashmiri red chili powder
2 teaspoon coriander powder
1 teaspoon black pepper powder
1/2 teaspoon garam masala
Salt to taste
1/2 cup + 2 tablespoons water
Coriander leaves to garnish



Directions


1) Heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds and fennel seeds.

2) Add onion and fry until onions are golden brown.

3) To this add ginger, garlic, tomato and curry leaves. Saute until the tomatoes are well cooked.

4) Time to add turmeric powder, Kashmiri red chili powder & coriander powder with 2 tablespoons of water. Cook this until oil separates.

5) Pour 1/2 cup water and salt to taste. Mix well.

6) Add prawns/shrimp and few more curry leaves for flavor. Mix well. Cover and cook the prawns/shrimp.

7) Now add garam masala. Mix well and simmer for two more minutes.

8) Turn off the flame and garnish with coriander leaves.
