Ingredients:
1 kilogram Chicken
To marinate
1 teaspoon turmeric powder
2 tablespoons kashmiri red chilli powder
1/2 teaspoon garam masala
1/2 cup fried onion
1/2 cup grated tomato
2 tablespoons ginger garlic paste
1 cup curd
Salt to taste
1 tablespoon kasuri methi
For Masala
1 tablespoon coriander seeds
1 teaspoon black peppercorns
2 inch cinnamon stick
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
10 dry red chillies
For the gravy
3 tablespoon ghee
3 tablespoon oil
2 bay leaves
4 cloves
2 black cardamom
coriander leaves
Instructions
1) Marinate the chicken for 1 hour with turmeric powder, Kashmiri red chili powder, garam masala, fried onions, tomato, ginger garlic paste, curd, salt and kasuri methi.
2) Heat a pan in low heat. Dry roast coriander seeds, peppercorns, cinnamon stick, cumin seeds and red chillies. Grind this to powder and keep it aside.
3) Heat oil and ghee in a pan and add cloves, cinnamon, black cardamom and bay leaves. Give it a stir.
4) Now add the marinated chicken and ground masala powder. Mix well.
5) Cover and cook until the chicken is well cooked.
7) Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
