Ingredients
3 tablespoon curd
1 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
2 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder1 teaspoon cumin powder
1 teaspoon coriander powder
1 teaspoon garam masala
500 grams boiled potatoes
5 tablespoons oil
1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
2 onions
2 green chilies
1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste
1 1/2 cups water
Salt to taste
Coriander leaves
Directions
1) Mix curd, 2 teaspoons of red chili powder, 1 teaspoon turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder and garam masala. Keep it aside.
2) Marinate potatoes with 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder, 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder and salt.
3) Heat a pan with 2 tablespoons of oil and shallow fry the potatoes. Keep it aside.
4) Heat 3 tablespoons of oil in same pan and fry onion until golden brown.
5) Add green chilies and ginger garlic paste. Saute for 30 seconds.
7) Now add the curd mixture and salt. Mix well.
8) Add salt and turn on the flame in medium heat and cook this for 5 to 6 minutes or until the oil separates from the masala.
9) Add water and fried potatoes. Mix well. Close the pan and cook for 5 mins.
10) Turn off the flame and cover and rest it for 5 more minutes.
11) Garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
