Ingredients:
250 grams paneer, cubed
3 tablespoons oil
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
1 onion, medium size, thinly sliced
2 garlic, finely chopped
1 teaspoon red chili powder
1 teaspoon coriander powder
1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 tomato, small size, cubed
1 green pepper, medium size, thinly sliced
salt to taste
2 tablespoons water
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1'' ginger, cut julienne
1 tablespoon coriander leaves
Directions
- Heat oil in a pan on medium flame. Add cumin seeds and splutter for 30 seconds.
- Add onions and fry until golden brown. Add garlic and fry for 1 second.
- Add red chili powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder and stir for a minute.
- Add tomatoes and cook it for 1-2 minutes or until slightly softened.
- Now add salt and green peppers and fry for 2-3 minutes.
- Add water and mix well. Add the paneer cubes and stir well to coat with all the spices.
- Switch off the flame and add ginger, lemon juice & garnish with fresh coriander. Serve hot.
