Ingredients:
1 big cauliflower
6 tablespoons oil
2 medium onion, blended to a fine paste
1 teaspoon ginger
1 teaspoon garlic
1 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon red chili powder
4 big tomato, pureed
2 tablespoons green peas, cooked
1 teaspoon garam masala
2 tablespoons cilantro
Salt to taste
Directions
- Heat 4 tablespoons oil in a pan and add cauliflower pieces. Cook in high flame for 5-10 minutes or till the cauliflower is done and keep it aside.
- Heat 2 tablespoons oil, add onion paste and mix well. Add ginger, garlic and fry till the onion are well done and attain golden brown color.
- Add turmeric powder, red chili powder and stir for 30 seconds.
- Add pureed tomato and cook till oil starts to separate.
- Add cooked cauliflower, green peas, garam masala and salt. Mix well.
- Finally add cilantro and simmer for 2 minutes.
Note: Make sure the onions are well cooked, else will lead to sour taste.
