A delicious snack made with potatoes and sweet corn that is easy to prepare and light on spices. Kids would love these for sure!

Prep Time : 15 min

Cook Time: 10 min


1/2 cup sweet corn
1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
1 tablespoon cilantro, finely chopped
1/2 teaspoon green chilies, finely chopped
1/2 teaspoon mango powder
1/2 teaspoon garam masala

medium potatoes, boiled and grated
1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
Salt to taste

2 tablespoons all purpose flour(maida)
tablespoons cornstarch

Oil to deep fry


  1. Mix corn, red chili powder, cilantro, green chilies, mango powder and garam masala. Keep it aside.
  2. Mix potatoes, red chili powder and salt. Divide this mixture into 12 equal parts.
  3. Flatten each potato part on your palm , place 1 teaspoon of corn filling in center, fold and shape into flat, round patty.
  4. Mix flour and cornstarch. Coat each patty evenly with this mixture.Press lightly between your palms to bind.
  5. In a pan, heat oil and deep fry the patties until golden brown.
