Aloo Jhol is a quick recipe generally severed with paratha or poori. Its a very delicious dish which can be prepared with minimal ingredients. A perfect dish for potato lovers.

Ingredients:
4 Potatoes, medium sized ,boiled,peeled and broken into small pieces
1 tablespoon oil
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
2 teaspoons ginger, finely chopped
1 teaspoon green chili, chopped
1/4 teaspoon asafetida/hing
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon mango powder/amchur
1/2 teaspoon garam masala
1 tablespoon cilantro, chopped
1 1/2 cup water
Directions
- Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, ginger and green chili. Stir well.
- Add asafetida, turmeric powder, red chili powder, potatoes and water. Mix everything well.
- Add salt, mango powder and garam masala.
- Add cilantro, reduce the heat and simmer for 5 mins.
