Ingredients
Egg - 3 large
Milk - 3 tbsp
Vanilla extract - 1 1/2 tsp
All purpose flour - 1 1/2 cup
Sugar - 3/4 cup
Baking powder - 1 tsp
Salt - 1/4 tsp
Butter (Room temperature) -13 tbsp
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 F.
- In a medium bowl whisk the eggs, milk and vanilla extract. Keep it aside.
- In a large bowl swift flour, baking powder and salt.Add sugar and mix well for 30 Sec.
- Add butter and half of the egg mixture. Mix well until the dry ingredients are moisten.
- Add the remaining egg mixture and mix well for 1 Min.
- Pour the cake batter to a loaf pan and bake it for 55-65 min or until the cake is golden brown and toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
- Serve the cake when it is completely cool.
- This cake can be covered and stored for several days at room temperature.
