Chicken Tikka (Oven roasted)
Chicken Tikka (Oven roasted)

Ingredients

Chicken - 800 gm

For 1st marination

Ginger paste - 1 tsp
Garlic Paste - 1 tsp
Red chilly powder - 1 tsp
Lemon Juice - 1 tbsp
Salt to taste

For 2nd marination

Gram flour (Besan) - 2 tbsp
Ajwain - 1 tsp
Curd - 1 cup
Red chilly powder - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Garam Masala - 1/2 tsp
Ginger Paste - 1 tsp
Garlic Paste - 1 tsp
Oil - 3 tbsp
Salt to taste

Instructions


  1. Cut the chicken into small cubes and marinate it with the first marination ingredients. Keep it aside for 20 mins.
  2. Soak the skewers in water for 20 mins.
  3. Fry the gram flour for about 3 mins in low flame.
  4. Add the fried gram flour to a large bowl and mix in the second marination ingredients.
  5. To the above, add the pre-marinated chicken, mix well and keep aside for 2 hrs.
  6. Preheat oven to 500 F.
  7. Divide the chicken among skewers and bake for 10 min.
  8. Flip the chicken and bake it for another 5 min. 
  9. Serve hot.
