Pal Payasam

Payasam Rice - 1/2 cup
Milk - 1 Liter
Condensed Milk - 1/2 cup
Sugar - 1/2 cup
Water - 1 cup
Salt a pinch


  1. Wash the rice well and soak it for 20 min.
  2. In a cooker add rice, sugar, milk and water. Switch on the flame and wait till the milk gets boil.
  3. Reduce the flame to low and close the cooker (Do not increase the flame). Cook this for 30min.
  4. Switch off the flame and allow it to cool.
  5. Open the cooker and add condensed milk and salt.Stir well and serve.
