300 gram chicken
To marinate
1 tablespoon red chilly (dried)
1 tablespoon coriander seeds
1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds 1/2 teaspoon ginger
1 tablespoon garlic
1 cup curd
Salt to taste
For Masala
1 onion
1 tablespoon tomato ketchup
1/2 teaspoon ginger
1 tablespoon garlic
1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
1/2 teaspoon chilly powder
1 tablespoon coriander powder
1/2 teaspoon garam masala
2 tablespoon coriander leaves
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice [Optional]
Instructions
1) Heat a pan in low flame and dry roast coriander seeds, red chilly and cumin seeds. Grind this to fine powder.
2) Marinate the chicken with the ground masala powder,ginger,garlic,curd,lime,red chilly and salt.Keep it aside for 30 min.
3) Heat oil in a pan .Add onion and saute till its golden brown.
4) Add ginger and garlic.Saute well and add tomato ketchup.
5) Add marinated chicken and mix well.
6) Add turmeric powder,chilly powder,coriander powder and garam masala. Add lemon juice if needed. Mix well.
7) Cover the pan and cook this for 10 mins.
8) Open the pan and simmer for 5 more minutes. Add coriander leaves and serve hot.
