Ingredients:
Wheat flour - 1 cup
All purpose flour - 1/2 cup
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Oil - 2 tbsp
Channa Dal - 1 cup
Sugar - 1/2 cup
Cardamom powder - 1/4 tsp
Ghee - 3 tbsp
Instructions
- Wash and soak the channa dal set aside for 6 hrs.
- Cook the dal in cooker and grind it without water.
- Heat ghee in a pan and add sugar,channa dal mixture and saute well until all the moisture evaporates.
- Remove the pan from the heat .Add cardamom powder.Mix well and keep it aside.
- In a bowl combine flour, wheat flour,turmeric powder, oil and water.Mix well and make a soft dough.
- Divide the dough into eight equal portions .Roll each portions into circle and place a little stuffing of channa dal mixture in the center of the circle.
- Bring together all the sides in the center and seal tightly.
- Roll again into a circle ,as we do for chapattis and cook this in a nonstick pan.
