Ingredients:

Wheat flour - 1 cup
All purpose flour - 1/2 cup
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Oil - 2 tbsp

Channa Dal - 1 cup
Sugar - 1/2 cup
Cardamom powder - 1/4 tsp
Ghee - 3 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Wash and soak the channa dal set aside for 6 hrs.
  2. Cook the dal in cooker and grind it without water.
  3. Heat ghee in a pan and add sugar,channa dal mixture and saute well until all the moisture evaporates.
  4. Remove the pan from the heat .Add cardamom powder.Mix well and keep it aside.
  5. In a bowl combine flour, wheat flour,turmeric powder, oil and water.Mix well and make a soft dough.
  6. Divide the dough into eight equal portions .Roll each portions into circle and place a little stuffing of channa dal mixture in the center of the circle.
  7. Bring together all the sides in the center and seal tightly.
  8. Roll again into a circle ,as we do for chapattis and cook this in a nonstick pan.
