Sweet Boondi |
Cook Time: 20 min
Ingredients:
Gram flour (Besan) - 3 cups
Sugar - 1 cup
Cardamom powder - 1/4 tsp
Food color [Optional] - 3 drops
Instructions
- Make a thick batter with gram flour and water.Keep it aside for 20 min.
- Heat oil in a pan.Take perforated ladle and hold it over oil.
- Pour the batter to the ladle and spread it out. The boondis will fall drop by drop.
- Fry boondis till they are little crispy. Drain them and set aside.
- Take water and sugar in a pan and bring it to a boil and cook till it attain a single string stage.
- Add cardamom powder and stir well.
- Switch off the heat and add boondis in it.Mix well.
- Keep it aside for 2 to 3 hrs to get it non sticky and serve.
