For Marination
Gobi (cooked) - 1 medium
All purpose flour - 6 tbsp
Corn flour - 4 tbsp
Ginger paste -1 tsp
Garlic paste - 1 tsp
Red chilly powder - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Black pepper powder- 1 tsp
Soy sauce - 1 tsp
Tomato sauce - 1 tsp
Sweet chilly sauce - 3 tsp

For gravy
Onion - 1
Garlic - 3 cloves
Green chilly - 3
Spring onion - 3
Black pepper powder - 1 tsp
Tomato sauce - 1 tsp
Sweet chilly sauce - 1 tsp
Soy sauce - 2 tsp
Salt to taste
Corn flour - 2 tbsp


  1. Make a batter with flour, corn flour, ginger paste, garlic paste, red chilly powder, turmeric powder, black pepper, soy sauce, tomato sauce, sweet chilly sauce . Marinate gobi with this batter. Keep it aside for 20 min and deep fry it.
  2. Heat oil in a pan, add green chilly, onion, spring onions and garlic in it. Stir till it gets cooked.
  3. Add black pepper powder, soy sauce, sweet chilly sauce and tomato sauce. Add salt if needed.Stir well.
  4. Take cornflour in a bowl and mix it with 1/4 cup water.Add this to the gravy .Stir continuously to avoid lumps.
  5. Add fried gobi to gravy and mix well. 
  6. Garnish it with spring onion and serve hot.
