Dried red chilly -10
Shallots (Chuvannulli) - 15 (small)
Hing - 1/4 tsp
Tamarind - 1 small piece
Salt to taste


  1. Heat oil in a pan and add red chilly,hing and shallots.Fry till the chilly become brown.
  2. Grind this with tamarind and salt. Add 1 tsp of oil and serve it with kappa.
