All purpose flour - 3/4 cup
Eggs - 3
Sugar - 1 cup
Water - 1/3 cup
Vanilla - 1 tsp
Baking powder - 1 tsp
Salt - 1/4 tsp
Jam - 1/2 cup
Sugar(Powdered) - 2 tbsp


  1. Preheat oven to 375 degree. Line a cake pan with greased foil.
  2. Beat eggs until very thick and lemon color.
  3. Gradually add sugar, water, vanilla, flour, baking powder and salt. Beat the mixture until the batter is smooth.
  4. Pour the mixture into the pan and bake for 15 min. Insert a fork in center and if it comes out clean its ready to take out.
  5. Immediately take the cake from the pan and turn upside down onto a towel and remove the foil.
  6. Roll the cake and keep it aside for altleast 30 min to cool.
  7. Unroll the cake and remove the towel. Spread the jam over the cake and roll it again .Sprinkle powdered sugar on it and serve.
