For Marination
Chicken pieces - 500 gm (Medium size)
Ginger - small piece

Instructions
- Grind black pepper, green chilly, ginger, garlic and coriander leaves with 2 tbsp of water.
- Add the ground masala from step 1, lemon juice, salt and marinate the chicken for an hour.
- Heat oil and add onion, bay leaves, cloves, cardamom, cinnamon, ginger garlic paste and fennel seeds. Cook till onion turns golden brown.
- Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala and mix well.
- When oil starts appearing add tomato, salt and curry leaves.
- Add chicken pieces and a little water and cook till the chicken is done.
- Thicken the gravy to your preferred consistency .
- Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
