Egg Masala

Ingredients

Boiled egg - 2
Onion - 2 big
Tomato - 1 medium
Ginger - small piece
Coriander leaves - 4 tbsp finely chopped
Green chilly - 4
Garlic - 2 to 3
Ginger garlic paste - 2 tsp
Bay leaves - 2  
Cloves - 3
Cardamom - 2
Cinnamon - 1 medium
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Coriander powder - 2 1/2 tsp
Garam masala - 1/2 tsp
Fennel seeds - 1/2 tsp
Curry leaves
Salt


Instructions

  1. Grind black pepper, green chilly, ginger, garlic, coriander leaves with 2 tbsp of water and keep aside.
  2. Heat oil and add onion, bay leaves, cloves, cardamom, cinnamon, ginger garlic paste and fennnel seeds. cook till onion turns golden brown.
  3. Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala and mix well.
  4. When oil starts appearing add tomato, salt and curry leaves. mix well.
  5. Add ground masala and a little water to the pan, close the lid and cook for 5 min.
  6. Add the boiled eggs to the gravy and thicken the gravy to your preferred consistency .
  7. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
