Refined flour - 2 Cups
Rava/Sooji - 3 tbsp
Curd - 4 tbsp
Oil - 1 tbsp
Salt - 1/2 tsp
Sugar - 1/2 tsp
Baking powder - 1 tsp
Water - to kneed
Oil - for deep frying

  1. Mix flour with baking powder and salt.
  2. Mix curd with sugar and add this to the flour.
  3. Add about a cup of water and mix gradually to make a soft dough.
  4. Add 1 tbsp of oil and knead well.
  5. Cover the dough with a wet cloth and keep aside for 2 hours.
  6. Divide the dough into sixteen equal portions and cover them with wet cloths for 10 more minutes.
  7. Heat oil in a kadai for deep frying.
  8. Take each portion of dough and roll to the desired size.
  9. Fry them and serve hot with Channa Masala.
